  1. 1 pound(s) (ground) beef 1 small onion , chopped 1 package(s) taco seasoning mix 1 package(s) ranch dressing mix 1 can(s) (14 1/2-oz stewed) tomatoes 1 can(s) (15-oz) kidney beans 1 can(s) (15-oz) pinto beans 1 can(s) (15 1/2-oz.) corn 4 ounce(s) (canned or bottled) green chilies 3 cup(s) water , or more, depending on preference 8 ounce(s) (nonfat) tortilla chips 8 ounce(s) (grated) Monterey Jack cheese 8 tablespoon(s) (nonfat) sour cream

  1. In a large pot coated with nonstick cooking spray, brown ground beef. Add onions when beef is almost done and cook until onions are translucent. Add seasoning mixes and blend well. Stir in tomatoes, beans, corn, chilies and water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Place 1 oz. (about ½ cup) tortilla chips in each of 8 bowls. Ladle soup over chips and garnish each bowl with 1 oz. Monterey Jack cheese and 1 Tbsp. sour cream.
