  1. Passover chocolate chiffon cake

  2. 4 c very finely ground motzah meal

  3. 1/2 c pareve margarine, melted, or 1/2 c oil

  4. 1 c sugar

  5. 1 c cocoa powder

  6. 4 eggs, separated

  7. 2 c water

  8. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix the cocoa, sugar, and motzah

  9. meal. Mix in the oil, then the water, then the egg yolks. Whip

  10. the egg whites until very stiff peaks form. Fold 1/3 of the egg

  11. whites into the batter, then fold the batter into the remaining

  12. egg whites. Spoon into an ungreased tube pan, and bake until an

  13. inserted knife comes out clean.
