  1. 2 Cups Chickpea Flour

  2. 1/2 Cup Maida

  3. 2 Tbsp Corn Flour

  4. 3 Tbsp Rice Flour

  5. 1 Tsp Baking Powder

  6. 1 Potato

  7. 1 Carrot

  8. 4 Onions

  9. 1/4 Tsp Chili Powder

  10. 1/4 Tsp Ground Cumin

  11. 1/4 Tsp Ground Turmeric

  12. 1 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice

  13. 1 1/2 Cups Oil

  14. 1 Cup Water

  15. Salt to Taste

  1. Mix chicpea, self-raising flour, cornflour, rice flour and baking powder.

  2. Add chopped potato, carrot, onion, chilli, cumin, turmeric, spring onions, lemon juice, salt, 1 tsp oil and enough water to mix to a thick batter.

  3. Drop the batter, single tbsp at a time, into the heated oil and fry on both sides until golden brown.
