  1. 10 lg. Eggs seperated

  2. 1 lb. Butter (not margerine)

  3. 4-1/4 c. All-purpose flour

  4. 2-1/4 c. Granulated sugar

  5. 1/4 c. Whiskey of your choice (this is a must)

  1. In medium mixing bowl, Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Set aside. In another medium mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together. Add the egg yolks and beat well. Add flour and whiskey; beat well. Add egg whites last, then beat on medium speed of mixer for about 5-minutes. Bake in 2 greased and floured loaf pans; 2-hours at 300-degrees F. Cool completely for 4- hours before serving. Yield: serves 10
