  1. Mud Pie

  2. 8 servings,

  3. 1 slice each.

  4. 3/4 cup crushed Nilla Wafers

  5. 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans

  6. 2 Tbsp. butter, melted

  7. 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened

  8. 3/4 cup powdered sugar

  9. 11/2 cups thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping, divided

  10. 13/4 cups cold milk

  11. 1 pkg. (4-serving size) chocolate instant pudding

  12. Preheat oven to 375F. Mix wafer crumbs, pecans and butter; press

  13. 9-inch pie plate. Bake

  14. 10 min.;

  15. cool.

  16. Beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on

  17. medium speed until well blended. Gently stir in 1 cup of the whipped

  18. topping; spread over crust. Pour milk into medium bowl. Add dry

  19. pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. or until well blended.

  20. Spoon over cream cheese layer.

  21. Refrigerate several hours or until set. Top with remaining 1/2 cup

  22. whipped topping just before serving. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
