  2. % Sausage, Beef, and Ribs with Rigatoni

  6. 1/4 cup Olive oil

  7. 3 cup Water

  8. 2 Onions -- chpd

  9. 2 cup Dry red wine OR water

  10. 8 Cloves garlic -- minced

  11. 6 ounce Tomato paste

  12. 1 1/2 pound Boneless chuck -- cut 1 cubes

  13. 2 tablespoon Fresh basil -- chpd

  14. 1 pound Italian sausage -- sliced

  15. 1/2 1 pound Cooked rigatoni

  16. 6 Beef short ribs

  17. Parmesan cheese

  18. 1 1/2 cup Marinara sauce

  19. In a large pan, saute onions and garlic in oil until tender. Remove and set

  20. aside. Add chuck to pan, brown on all sides, then remove to onion dish. Add

  21. sausage and brown, Return all to pan. Add ribs, mainara sauce, water or wine,

  22. tomato paste and spices and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover partially,

  23. simmer 3 hrs. or until chuck is very tender, degreasing occasionally. Just

  24. before serving, stir in basil. Divide pasta among 6 bowls and top with meat

  25. mixture then cheese.

  26. This is absolutely excellent. I made my spaghetti sauce in place of marinara

  27. sauce. Next time, change the ribs and beef and substitute round steak. The
