  1. 5 eggs

  2. 150 g caster sugar

  3. 60 ml honey

  4. 3/4 TSP baking powder

  5. 3/4 cups plain flour Confectioners sugar

  6. 23 cm (9-in) square cake tin , greased and floured

  1. How to make it Pre heat oven to 180 C In a medium bowl , beat the egg until frothy , then gradually beat in the sugar and honey . Continue beating until the mixture is thick and pale and the beaters leave a ribbon trail , about 12 minutes. Sift the baking powder and the flour together,then sift them into the bowl . Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture until just combined , then carefully pour the mixture into the prepared cake tin . Bake for 30 minutes , then transfer to a wire rack and leave it to cool completely . Dust with icing sugar and cut into squares before serving .
