  1. 1 package Barilla Three Cheese Tortellini

  2. 10 ounces fresh porcini mushrooms (may substitute 1 ounce dried)

  3. 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  4. 1 clove garlic, crushed

  5. 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  7. 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  8. 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

  1. Steps:

  2. If using dried mushrooms, soak for 20 minutes in warm water; drain.

  3. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

  4. Sauté garlic in olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes, or until garlic turns slightly golden in color.

  5. Add mushrooms, sauté for 3 minutes over medium high heat; remove garlic from pan.

  6. Stir in cream, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 1-2 minutes or until sauce thickens.

  7. Cook Tortellini according to package directions. Drain; toss Tortellini with the sauce and simmer 1-2 minutes.

  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
