  3. 1 cup dry jasmine rice

  4. 1 3/4 cups water S & P, to taste In a medium saucepan- heat oil over medium-high heat. Drop in the cumin seeds, and cook until they sizzle. Add your rice & fry for 1 minute. Add water, salt & pepper and bring to a slow boil.  Once your water is boiling, reduce to low heat & cover. Cook the rice for approximately
