  1. 7 cups apple cider

  2. 1/3 cup brown sugar

  3. 4 cinnamon sticks

  4. 1 teaspoon whole allspice

  5. 1 teaspoon whole clove s

  6. 1 1/2 cups dark rum

  7. 1/2 cup butterscotch schnapps

  1. Combine the cider and sugar in a saucepan. Wrap the cinnamon sticks, all spice and cloves in a cheesecloth and add to the cider mixture. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove the spice bundle and stir in the rum and butterscotch schnapps. Serve warm in mugs.
