  1. 5 to 6 cups white flour

  2. 2 cups warm water

  3. 2 packages yeast (rapid rise)

  4. 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  5. 3 tablespoons sugar

  6. 1 tablespoon salt

  1. Add 2 cups of very warm water to bowl. Add yeast. Stir until dissolved. Add sugar, salt and oil. Mix.

  2. Add 3 cups of flour and stir well. Mixture will be lumpy. Add about 1 and ½ cups of additional flour. Stir. Mixture will fall apart.

  3. Flour counter top (½ cup). Put mixture on counter top and knead until combined into doughy consistency. Kneading takes about 5-10 minutes, and works best if hands are oiled.

  4. Put dough back into lightly greased bowl. Let dough rise until it has doubled in size. Punch down. Knead for another 5 minutes.

  5. Divide dough into two loaves and add to greased pans.

  6. Bake at 350 until brown, for about 30-40 minutes.
