  1. 1 cup uncooked rice **filling**

  2. 1 pound ground steak -- (sirloin)

  3. 3 green onions -- finely chopped

  4. 1 teaspoon ginger root -- finely chopped

  5. 2 ounces water chestnuts -- finely chopped

  6. 1 egg -- beaten

  7. 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  8. 3 tablespoons Shaohsing wine or sherry

  1. Preparation : Mix the filling and form into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place the uncooked rice in a shallow pan or dish. Roll the beef balls in the rice until they are covered with the rice. Steam the beef balls for 30 minutes. Serve with your favorite Dim Sum dipping sauce.
