  1. 2 packets instant noodles

  2. 2 cups hot water

  3. 2 tbsp cooking oil

  4. 2 cloves garlic, minced

  5. 3/4 cup shelled prawns

  6. 2 tbsp chili sauce or to taste

  7. 1/2 small cucumber, shredded

  8. 2 tbsp sliced, fried shallots

  9. 1 fresh red chilies, sliced

  1. Cook instant noodles in boiling water for 2 minutes, add 1 sachet flavor from instant noodles. Drain noodles and reserve stock.

  2. Lightly brown garlic in hot oil. Add prawns and fry until prawns turn pink, about 3 minutes. Add reserved stock and bring to boil. Remove from heat. Stir in chili sauce.

  3. Spoon prawn mixture over noodles. Garnish with cucumber, shallots and chili. Serve hot.
