  6. 1 pound bacon -- friend, chopped

  7. 3/4 cup barbecue sauce, K. C. style

  8. 1/4 cup molasses

  9. 1/4 cup honey

  10. 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

  1. In a Dutch oven, combine beans, and other ingredients.

  2. Bring to a boil and then reduce flame to a low simmer.

  3. Cover. Cook for 1 hour, stirring beans every 15 minutes.

  4. Alternative: Cook the beans uncovered in a smoker as you hot-smoke the meats.
