  1. 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  2. 1/2 cup brown sugar

  3. 1 egg

  4. 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour

  5. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  6. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  7. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

  8. 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

  9. 1/4 cup milk

  10. 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

  11. 1/2 cup raisins

  12. 1/2 cup snipped dried apricots

  13. 1/2 cup chopped dates

  1. Preparation : 1. Cream together the oil and sugar. Add the egg. Then blend in the remaining ingredients.

  2. Drop by spoonfuls onto a lightly oiled baking sheet.

  3. Bake in 350 F oven for about 10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and store in a tightly closed container.
