  1. 1 1/2 c. orzo or sm. shell macaroni

  2. 6 bacon slices

  3. 1/3 c. salad oil

  4. 1 c. thinly sliced celery

  5. 1/4 c. chopped green onion

  6. 2 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen, cooked tiny shrimp, thawed and drained

  7. 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables

  8. 1 3/4 tsp. salt

  9. 1/4 tsp. pepper

  1. Prepare orzo, drain. In large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels. Remove drippings. Heat salad oil; add celery, onion and vegetables. Cook, stir frequently until tender (about 10 minutes). Crumble bacon, stir into vegetable mixture with salt, pepper and shrimp and orzo. Heat thoroughly.
