  1. 1 Unbaked 9-inch classic Crisco single crust

  2. Filling

  3. 1 2/3 cups 329g / 11oz Sugar

  4. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Crisco - , Butter flavored

  5. 3 Eggs

  6. 1 teaspoon 5ml Yellow cornmeal

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml All-purpose flour

  8. 1 teaspoon 5ml Vanilla

  9. 1 Crushed pineapple - (juice packed)

  10. 1/2 cup 46g / 1.6oz Coconut - , flaked

  1. Heat oven to 325F.

  2. For filling, combine sugar and Butter Flavor Crisco in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add cornmeal, flour and vanilla. Mix well.

  3. Combine undrained pineapple and coconut. Fold into creamed mixture. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 325F. F for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

  4. Makes one 9-inch pie.
