  1. Chocolate Cake

  2. 1 1/2 cups flour

  3. 3 tbsp cocoa powder

  4. 1 cup sugar generous pinch of salt

  5. 6 tbsp oil

  6. 3/4 cup water

  7. 1 tsp. baking soda

  8. 1 tsp vanilla essence (or a bit of lemon rind works just as well)

  9. Mix the dry ingredients. Add the liquids. Mix well, should be a

  10. thick, moist batter. Pour into a lightly oiled tin, bake 350F /

  11. 180C for about 30 minutes.

  12. The product is fairly dense, like a brownie. For a nice variant,

  13. 1 tsp 1/2 tsp
