  2. GREEK STYLE PASTA WITH SHRIMP AND FETA

  7. 1 md Onion

  8. 2 tb Olive oil

  9. 3 ea Garlic cloves

  10. 2 c Tomatoes, canned in puree

  11. 1 tb Oregano

  12. 1 t Basil

  13. 1/4 ts Pepper

  14. 3/4 lb Fettucine

  15. 3/4 lb Shrimp

  16. 1/2 c Olives, black

  17. 1/4 lb Feta cheese

  18. Bring large pot of water to boil.

  19. Cut onion into thin slices. In a large

  20. skillet, warm the oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.

  21. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the mixture is golden, about 5

  22. minutes.

  23. Add the tomatoes, oregano, basil and pepper, and bring the mixture to

  24. a boil over medium heat, breaking up the tomatoes with a spoon.

  25. Reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally,

  26. while you cook the pasta and prepare the shrimp. Shell and devein

  27. the shrimp.

  28. Uncover the sauce, bring to boil over medium-heat. Add the shrimp,

  29. reduce heat to low, cover andsimmer for 3 minutes. Add the olives

  30. and half the feta cheese, stir to combine.

  31. Drain the pasta, serve topped with the shrimp and sauce. Crumble
