  1. 4 pounds lean beef, cut in

  15. 1 cup diced onion

  16. 2 quarts brown gravy

  17. 1 pound tomatoes, peeled and chopped

  18. 1 can (12 ounces) whole kernel corn

  19. 1 1/2 cups water

  20. 2 potatoes, pared and quartered

  21. 1 sweet potato, pared and quartered

  22. 1 cup diced turnips

  23. 1/2 cup cooked, diced pumpkin

  24. 1/2 cup green beans

  25. 1/2 cup peas

  26. 1/2 cup sliced peaches

  27. 1 grapefruit, sectioned

  28. 2 oranges, sectioned

  29. 1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds

  30. 1/4 cup chopped parsley

  1. Directions Sprinkle meat with salt, pepper, and flour.

  2. Brown in oil in deep kettle; add all remaining ingredients except the last five.

  3. Simmer for 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.

  4. Turn into deep serving dish, top with fruits; sprinkle with nuts and parsley
