  6. 2 Garlic cloves, sliced

  7. 1/3 c Olive oil

  8. 4 c Tomatoes, peeled

  9. 1 tb Parsley, chopped

  10. 1/2 ts Basil

  11. 1 1/2 ts Salt

  12. 1 Red pepper pod, seeded

  13. 1/2 ts Oregano

  14. 3 tb Tomato paste

  15. 1 pk Spaghetti

  16. Grated cheese

  17. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat with the

  18. garlic and red pepper. When garlic is golden, remove

  19. pan from heat and allow to cool a bit. Add tomatoes,

  20. crushing them slightly. Add parsley, basil, and salt

  21. and cook over low flame about 30 minutes. Add oregano

  22. and tomato paste, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to

  23. a simmer and cook for about 15 minutes or until

  24. thickened.

  25. Cook spaghetti according to package directions, drain,

  26. and place on serving dish. Pour sauce over spaghetti,

  27. mix lightly, and serve at once with grated cheese. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
