  1. 1 16 oz bag of frozen peas,

  2. Thawed 1 sm Can medium hot green chilis

  3. 1/4 c Chopped onion

  4. 3/4 ts Garlic powder

  5. 1 tb Red chili powder

  6. 4 tb Your favorite salsa

  7. Chopped Tomatoes)

  8. 1 tb "Imo"

  9. Cumin to taste

  10. Salt and pepper to taste

  11. Any other spices you enjoy

  12. In guacamole

  1. Much lower in fat than real quacamole.

  2. Try this recipe, you'll be surprised! Thaw the peas by placing them in a colander and running them under lukewarm tapwater.

  3. To test if they're thawed, pop one in your mouth occasionally.

  4. Once thawed (it should only take 1-2 minutes), drain thoroughly and pour the peas into a blender or food processor.

  5. Puree the peas in the blender or food processor.

  6. Place pureed peas in a ceramic bowl and mix in the remaining ingredients.

  7. Refrigerate for several hours to let the flavors blend.

  8. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
