  1. 4 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese, finely shredded (1 cup)

  2. 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

  3. 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

  4. 1 tube (10 ounces) refrigerated pizza crust dough

  5. 1 tablespoon stick butter or margarine (not spread), melted

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease cookie sheet(s).

  2. Mix cheeses and pepper in a small bowl. Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to a 20 x 11-inch rectangle. Brush with half the butter; sprinkle with half the cheese mixture. Roll lightly with rolling pin to press mixture into dough. Fold dough in half lengthwise. Brush top with remaining butter, sprinkle with remaining cheese mixture and roll out with rolling pin until strip of dough is 6 inches wide. Cut crosswise into 3/4-inch-wide strips. Twist strips and place 1 inch apart on prepared cookie sheet(s).

  3. Bake 18 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire rack to cool. Store airtight.

  4. Store: Room temp, 1 day; freezer, 3 months
