  1. Swedish Rice Pudding "Risgrynsgrvt"

  2. 1 1/2 deciliters rice

  3. 3 deciliters water

  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  5. 7 deciliters milk

  6. 2 sticks cinnamon

  7. sugar

  8. Bring water, salt and rice to a boil. Cook on low heat until the

  9. 10 minutes

  10. sticks and stir. Bring to a boil. Cook on low heat for about 30

  11. to 40 minutes. Add sugar. Serve warm with cold milk.

  12. Variation:

  13. Ris a la Malta: After the rice pudding has cooled down completely,

  14. 2 large oranges, peeled and chopped and 2 deciliters sweetened

  15. whipped cream and stir.
