  1. 1/3 cup 78ml Pine nuts

  2. 2 tablespoons 30ml Nutritional yeast flakes

  3. 1 tablespoon 15ml Minced garlic

  4. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Salt

  5. 1 cup 40g / 1.4oz Parsley leaves - (packed)

  6. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Dried basil

  7. 1/3 cup 78ml Water

  8. 3 tablespoons 45ml Apple cider vinegar

  9. 4 teaspoons 20ml Lemon juice

  10. 1/2 cup 118ml Olive oil

  1. In a blender or food processor, place the pine nuts, and process for 1 minute to finely grind. Scrape down the sides of the container, add the nutritional yeast flakes, garlic, and salt, and process an additional 30 seconds.

  2. Add the parsley and dried basil and pulse a few times to roughly chop the parsley. Add the water, apple cider vinegar, and lemon juice, and process for 1 minute to thoroughly combine the ingredients.

  3. While the machine is running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil, and continue to process an additional 1 minute or until dressing starts to thicken.

  4. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator. Use as a dressing for salads, vegetables, grains, or side dishes.

  5. This recipe yields 1 1/2 cups.
