  4. 1 tsp freshly grated ginger

  5. 2 cloves garlic , finely minced

  6. 1/4 tsp Tabasco or other hot pepper sauce

  7. 1/2 tsp chili powder

  8. 1/4 tsp ground cumin

  9. 1/4 tsp black pepper

  10. 1/4 C low sodium chicken broth

  11. 4 boneless pork chops, about 5 oz each, trimmed of all visible fat Cooking spray

  1. Slice the orange in half and juice. Reserve the squeezed halves. In a medium bowl, combine the orange juice, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, Tabasco, chili powder, cumin, and pepper. Whisk well to combine. Pour half of the mixture into a ziptop bag, along with the reserved orange halves, pork chops, and chicken broth. Seal the bag, shake, remove any excess air, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 1 hour, or up to overnight. Reserve the remaining half of the mixture. Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and preheat over medium-high heat. Arrange the pork chops in a single layer and cook 2-3 minutes, until browned. Flip and quickly brown the other side. Reduce heat to medium low, add reserved soy-orange mixture, and cook until sauce is just barely reduced, another 2-3 minutes. Serve, if desired, sprinkled with the sesame seeds.
