    1. 1 1/2 to 2 pounds round steak

    3. 1 teaspoon salt

    4. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

    5. 2 tablespoons oil

    6. 1 (16-ounce) can tomatoes, cut up

    7. 1 large onion, sliced

    8. 1 green pepper, sliced

    9. 1 rib celery, thinly sliced

    10. 1 tablespoon thick bottled steak sauce

    1. Cut steak into serving-size pieces. Coat with flour, 2. salt and pepper.

    2. In large skillet or slow cooking pot with browning 4. unit, brown meat in oil.

    3. Pour off excess fat.

    4. In slow cooking pot, combine meat with tomatoes, 7. onion, green pepper, celery 8. and steak sauce.

    5. Cover pot and cook on low for 6 to 8 10. hours or until tender.
