    6. 1 teaspoon flavoring extract

    1. Piecrust:

    2. Sift flour and salt together.

    3. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar.

    4. Working quickly, with the tips of the fingers, blend shortening into the mixture.

    5. Use enough cold water to make the particles of the mixture adhere together.

    6. Turn on floured pastry board and roll, handling as little as possible.

    7. Line pie plate with piecrust.

    8. Bake for about 8 minutes at 350 degrees.
