  2. 1/2 cup whole milk

  3. 2/3 cup sugar

  4. 1 tablespoon veggie oil

  5. 2 cups all purpose flour

  6. 1 teaspoon cream of tartar

  7. 2 teaspoons baking powder

  8. 1/3 teaspoon salt Oil, for frying Powdered sugar, for sprinkling What's Next: In a large bowl- combine the egg, milk, sugar & oil. Sift the flour, cream of tartar, baking powder, and salt into the egg mixture. Stir until well mixed In a large skillet- add oil to about 1/3 of skillet & heat on medium-high. Carefully drop batter by small spoonfuls into the oil. Remove with a slotted spoon when browned on all sides. Drain on a paper towel. Roll donut holes in powdered sugar while still warm.
