  1. 2 tablespoons (1/4 stick) butter or margarine

  2. 1 large onion, diced (about 1 cup)

  3. 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  4. 1 cup chicken broth

  5. 1/4 cup dry white wine

  6. 4 ears sweet corn-on-the-cob, shucked and halved

  7. 1/4 cup chopped parsley, for garnish

  1. Heat butter in medium skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes.

  2. Add broth and wine; bring to a boil. Add corn; cover and cook until corn is cooked, about 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.
