  1. Instructions : Transfer the butter to a mixing bowl; reserve the empty tub. Blend in the onion, cumin, lime zest, lime juice, honey and hot sauce until well combined. Pack the butter mixture back into the tub. Store, in the refrigerator, for up to 1 week. Makes 1 1/4 cups (300 mL) Tips: 1. Serve a side-dish with flair by blending the flavoured butter into hot mashed sweet potatoes.

  2. Get creative with corn on the cob; rub the flavoured butter over grilled or boiled corn. Or simply toss the flavoured butter with hot cooked corn kernels.

  3. For a savoury movie-night popcorn snack, toss warm popcorn with melted flavoured butter to taste.

  8. Add flavour to steamed fresh or frozen green vegetables such as peas, broccoli, green beans or asparagus. Sensational Crumb Coated Salmon: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Combine 1/4 cup (50 mL) flavoured butter mixture with 1 cup (250 mL) fresh breadcrumbs; pat the crumb mixture onto 4 lightly seasoned salmon fillets.
