  1. 2/3 cup nonfat sour cream

  2. 1/2 cup water

  3. 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  5. 1/2 teaspoon dried rubbed sage

  6. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  7. 4 (6 ounce) bone-in center-cut pork chops , trimmed

  8. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  9. 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

  10. 1 teaspoon olive oil

  11. 1/2 cup chopped onion

  12. 1 (8 ounce) package presliced mushrooms

  13. 1/2 cup whiskey

  1. Combine the first 6 ingredients in a small bowl.

  2. Sprinkle pork with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.

  3. Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Add pork; saute 5 minutes on each side or until golden.

  5. Remove pork from pan.

  6. Add onion and mushrooms to pan; saute for 3 minutes.

  7. Carefully add whiskey to pan; cook for 1 minute or until liquid almost evaporates.

  8. Stir sour cream mixture into pan.

  9. Return pork to pan; spoon sauce over pork.

  10. Wrap handle of skillet with foil.

  11. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.

  12. Serve immediately.

  13. makes 4 servings (serving size: 1 pork chop and about 1/3 cup sauce).
