    1. 2 Cups Plums

    2. 1 1/2 Cup Maida Flour

    3. 4 Eggs

    4. 3/4 Cup Butter

    5. 3/4 Cup White Sugar

    6. 1 Tsp Lemon Zest

    7. 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder

    1. Beat the egg whites in a bowl.

    2. Cream the butter with sugar in a large bowl.

    3. Add lemon zest to eggs.

    4. Stir together 1-cup flour and baking powder.

    5. Fold in this flour mixture into the creamed mixture.

    6. Add and stir the egg whites.

    7. Grease a ten-inch tube pan.

    8. Arrange the batter uniformly into the prepared pan.

    9. Arrange the sliced plums attractively over the batter with skin-side down.

    10. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

    11. Bake it for 40 minutes.
