  5. 1 ts Vanilla

  6. 1 Pch nutmeg

  7. 3/4c Milk

  8. 4 tb To 6 tb unsalted butter

  1. + Servings: 12 Make 12 mini-sandwiches using French bread and cottage cheese.

  2. Separate eggs, beat yolks with sugar until thick.

  3. Add vanilla, grated nutmed, and milk.

  4. Beat whites to soft peak with a pinch of salt and fold into yolk mixture.

  5. Dip sandwiches into batter and brown on both sides in 4 to 6 tablespoons unsalted butter.
