  1. 1 1/2 Lbs. Ground Beef

  2. 1 Pkg. Onion Soup Mix

  3. 2 Tbs. Chopped Parsley

  4. 1/4 Tsp. Pepper

  5. 1/4 Tsp. Poultry Seasoning

  6. 1/4 Cup Chili Sauce

  7. 1 Egg, slightly beaten

  8. 1 Tbs. Water

  9. 1 1/2 Cups Sifted Allpurpose Flour

  10. 1 1/2 Tsp. Baking Powder

  11. 1 Tsp. Salt

  12. 4 Eggs

  13. 1 1/2 Cups Milk

  14. 3 Tbs. Melted Butter or Margarine

  1. Directions Combine ground beef, soup mix, parsley, pepper, poultry seasoning and chili sauce.

  2. Blend egg with water; add to meat mixture.

  3. Mix thoroughly.

  4. Form into 24 balls.

  5. Place in wellgreased 13x9 inch baking dish.

  6. Mix and sift flour, baking powder and salt.

  7. Beat remaining eggs until foamy.

  8. Add milk and butter; mix well.

  9. Add dry ingredients all at once to egg mixture.

  10. Beat with rotary beater (or low speed on mixer) until smooth and well blended.

  11. Pour batter over meat balls.

  12. Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, for 50 to 60 minutes or until golden brown.

  13. Serve hot, with packaged beef gravy if desired.

  14. Recipe serves 8 to 12 people.

  15. Excellent economic dish to serve to company.
