  1. 4 boneless pork chops, 1/2-inch thick

  2. 1/2 cup Italian-style bread crumbs

  3. 1 tablespoon melted butter

  4. 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel

  5. 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves

  6. 1 large egg, slightly beaten

  1. Heat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Line a 15x10x1-inch baking pan with foil; spray with vegetable cooking spray.

  3. In a shallow dish combine breadcrumbs, butter, lemon peel and basil. Brush chops with egg, then dip in crumb mixture to coat top and sides.

  4. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes or until nicely golden brown.
