Strawberry Cream Pie

    1. 8 oz. cream cheese

    2. 1/4 c. sugar

    3. 1/2 tsp. vanilla

    4. Dash nutmeg

    5. 1 c. strawberry slices

    6. 1 c. whipping cream

    7. 1/4 c. sifted confectioners' sugar

    8. 9 inch graham cracker pie crust

    1. Combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla and nutmeg, mixing until well blended. Mash 3/4 cup strawberry slices and stir into cream cheese mixture. Whip cream with confectioners’ sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold into cream cheese mixture and then fold in remaining strawberries. Spoon into pie crust and chill several hours or overnight. Garnish with additional strawberries, if desired.
