You can even buy silica gel cracker crispers in food specialty stores. If your crackers become soggy, you can restore their crispness by heating them in a preheated, low-temperature oven (250-275) for a few minutes.

  2. Freezing baked crackers will extend their life even longer. After they are cooled, freeze them in an airtight container, a double thickness of aluminum foil, freezer bags, or two layers of plastic wrap. After thawing crackers, recapture their crispness by heating them for a few minutes in a low temperature oven.
