  1. 1 lb Firm tofu

  2. 2 ea Garlic cloves, chopped

  3. 1 tb Teriyaki sauce

  4. 1 tb Soy sauce

  5. 3/4 c Sugar

  6. - chopped 1 1/2 lb Red plums, pitted, peeled &

  7. 1/4 c Vegetable oil

  8. 3 tb Whole-wheat flour

  9. 2 tb Cornstarch

  10. 1/2 c Sesame seeds

  11. Water to cover

  1. Cut tofu into 1" squares.

  2. Mix together sesame seeds, cornstarch & flour.

  3. Roll tofu in sesame mixture till well coated.

  4. Heat oil in skillet till hot.

  5. Fry squares till well browned.

  6. Drain on paper towels & set aside.

  7. Place the rest of the ingredients in a pot.

  8. Add just enough water to cover by 1/2".

  9. Bring to a boil then simmer for 20 minutes.

  10. Blend till smooth.

  11. Pour into a serving bowl.

  12. To serve, place toothpicks in tofu cubes.

  13. Arrange on a platter & serve warm with the sauce.
