  1. 12 oz ground beef chuck

  2. 11/2 cups chopped onions

  3. 2 Tbsp minced garlic

  4. 3 Tbsp chili powder

  5. 2 tsp ground cumin

  6. 1 small butternut squash, peeled, seeded and cut in 3/4-in. chunks (4 cups)

  7. 4 cups beef broth (from cubes)

  8. 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes

  9. 1 can (16 oz) barbecue baked beans

  10. 1 can each (15 1/2 oz each) red kidney, black and pinto beans, rinsed Serve with: shredded Cheddar cheese and sliced scallions

  1. Sauté beef in a 5-qt pot over medium heat 4 minutes or until brown. Discard fat.
