  1. Prepare whole mushrooms as directed. Dip mushrooms into egg, then coat with bread crumbs. Heat margarine in 12-inch skillet over medium heat until hot.

  2. Cook mushrooms and onions in margarine 7 to 8 minutes, turning occasionally, until mushrooms are tender and golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
