  1. 4 c. flour

  2. 2 tsp. baking soda

  3. 2 tsp. salt

  4. 1/2 to 2 c. very warm water

  1. Mix dry ingredients – make hole in middle – pour in water; mix to soft dough. Let sit covered 30 minutes to 2 hours.

  2. Make into little balls and flatten and deep fry in 2 inches (solid, not liquid) oil at 350 degrees until golden brown on both sides.
