  1. Strawberry Pretzel Salad

  2. 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted

  3. 1/4 cup sugar

  4. 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels

  5. 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese

  6. 1 cup whipping cream, whipped and sweetened (or 8 oz Cool Whip)

  7. 1 cup sugar

  8. 1 cup boiling water

  9. 1 large (double) pkg. strawberry jello (6 oz.)

  10. 10-oz. pkg. frozen strawberries & juice

  11. 1/4 C. sugar and crushed pretzels and press into a

  12. 13 inch pan. Bake

  13. 10 minutes at

  14. 350 deg. Cool. Mix cream cheese,

  15. whipped cream and 1 C. sugar at room temperature. Spread over

  16. cooled crust. Mix boiling water, Jello and strawberries. Pour on

  17. top of cream cheese mixture and refrigerate until firm. Cut in

  18. squares and serve. Drained crushed pineapple can be added to the jello mixture if

  19. desired. (about 5 oz.)
