  1. 1-cup peanut butter

  2. 6 Tbsp. margarine softened

  3. 1 1/4 cups sugar

  4. 3 egg s

  5. 1 tsp. vanilla

  6. 1 cup all purpose flour

  7. 1/4 tsp. salt

  8. 1 - 11 oz. package (2 cups) milk chocolate chips.

  1. Preheat oven to 350. In a large mixing bowl, beat peanut butter and butter until smooth, about 1 minute. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until smooth and creamy. Blend in flour, and salt. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips. Spread onto greased 13X9 inch baking pan. Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Immediately sprinkle remaining chips over the top. Let stand 5 minutes until morsels become shinny and soft. Spread evenly over the top. Cool completely. Cut into 1½ inch bars… Makes 48 Lynn Byers McClellan
