  1. 1/2 c Margarine; softened

  2. 1 1/2 c Sugar

  3. 2 Eggs

  4. 1 c Sour cream

  5. 1 ts Vanilla

  6. 2 3/4 c Flour

  7. 1/2 ts Baking soda

  8. 1/2 ts Baking powder

  9. 1/2 ts Salt

  10. Frosting: 3 c Confectioner's sugar

  11. 1/3 c Milk

  12. 1 ts Vanilla extract

  13. 1/8 ts Salt

  14. 4 tb Margarine

  15. 4 oz Unsweetened chocolate

  16. 1 hour. Drop by teaspoon

  17. 2" apart on ungreased pan. Bake until delicately brown. Touch lightly; no fingerprint when done. cookies are soft. Remove, cool & frost. FROSTING: mix sugar & milk. Stir in vanilla & salt. Melt margarine & chocolate together. Add to sugar mixture & stir until thick. Spread on cooled cookies. Do not make icing ahead of time. --
