  1. 2 quarts cider

  2. 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  3. 1 teaspoon whole allspice

  4. 1 teaspoon whole cloves

  5. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  6. Dash of ground nutmeg

  7. Combine cider and spice ingredients. Bring to slow boil, cover, simmer 20 minutes.

  8. Remove from heat and pour through strainer. Add cinnamon stick to each mug.

  9. Makes 8 servings.
