  2. 2 pounds conch -- ground

  3. 1 teaspoon black pepper

  4. 1 green pepper -- chopped

  5. 1 teaspoon baking powder

  6. 1 medium onion -- chopped

  7. 3 ounces tomato paste

  8. 2 teaspoons salt

  9. 3 cups self-rising flour

  1. Mix the ground conch with green pepper, onion, salt, black pepper and baking powder. Stir in the tomato paste and flour. Shape into balls and spoon into hot oil. Fry until golden brown. Serve with cocktail sauce. NOTE: I like to add 2 TSP. hot sauce to the batter.
