  2. 1/3 cup soft butter

  3. 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh chives

  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  5. 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

  6. 1 recipe Cayenne Toasts

  1. Combine all ingredients, except toasts, in a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth.

  2. Transfer to a serving bowl or a platter and surround with Cayenne Toasts.
