  3. 2 cups 220g / 7.8oz Sliced peeled carrots

  4. 1 cup 146g / 5.1oz Chopped green peppers

  5. 1 cup 237ml Sliced mushrooms

  6. 1 Cut green beans - (16 oz) - drained

  7. 1 Corn - (16 oz) - drained

  8. 3 Celery ribs - chopped

  9. 1 Tomato juice - (46 oz)

  10. 2 teaspoons 10ml Sugar

  11. 1 teaspoon 5ml Celery seeds Salt - to taste Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste

  1. Recipe Instructions In a large saucepan, brown the ground meat. Mix in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool and freeze. To prepare for serving: Thaw the stew. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. This recipe yields 8 servings.
