  1. 1 pk Soda crackers;(35 to 40)

  2. 2 Cubes of marg or butter

  3. 1 c Brown sugar

  4. 12 oz Chocolate chips

  5. 1 c Walnuts or pecans; crushed

  1. + Directions : Pre-heat oven to 350 Line a cookie sheet with foil and spray with Pam or brush with cooking oil. Line foil with crackers edge to edge. Put butter and sugar in pan and bring to boil over medium heat. Boil for three minutes. Pour mixture over the crackers and bake for seven minutes. The crackers will float to the top. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the top. When the chips have melted, spread to cover the entire surface evenly. If the chocolate is difficult spread, place the pan in the turned off oven to soften and spread again. Sprinkle with nuts and press down with spatula that has been sprayed with Pam. Cut while still warm into 1" squares or, if possible, separate crackers. Cool. Individual pieces can be wrapped in colored foil for gift giving. Typed by Delores E Rowe
